Overall Notes



  • Recognized increased stress due to layoffs at work
  • Noticed some stress-related snacking, but avoided bingeing.
  • Portions throughout the week were generally small and consistent.
  • Regular pattern of coffee + protein shake mornings, Kevin’s Natural Foods beef + small portion of rice for several dinners, and trail mix as an afternoon hunger cue.






Daily Breakdown




Monday, Nov 10



  • 7:30 AM: Protein shake + coffee
  • 1 PM: 2 Hawaiian rolls w/ ham & Swiss, pretzels, grapes, Alani Creamsicle
  • 7 PM: Kevin’s Mongolian Beef (5 oz) + 4 tbsp jasmine rice




Tuesday, Nov 11



  • AM: Coffee + protein shake
  • 11 AM: Hawaiian roll w/ ham & Swiss, pretzels, grapes, Alani Cherry Slush
  • 5 PM: Apple + caramel dip (individual cup)
  • 6:30 PM: 2 tbsp chip dip + handful of chips
  • 7 PM: Kevin’s Mongolian Beef (5 oz) + 4 tbsp jasmine rice
  • 8 PM: 5 crackers + port wine cheese
  • Note: Felt “snacky,” aware it was stress-related, but kept portions small.




Wednesday, Nov 12



  • 7 AM: Protein shake + coffee
  • 2 PM: 2 handfuls trail mix (peanuts, raisins, M&Ms, almonds, cashews)
  • 5 PM: 2 small sliced apples + 2 caramel dips
  • 7 PM: Kevin’s Mongolian Beef (5 oz) + 4 tbsp jasmine rice
  • Note: Ate trail mix due to genuine hunger.




Thursday, Nov 13



  • 7 AM: Coffee
  • 10 AM: Protein shake
  • 2 PM: 2 handfuls trail mix
  • 7 PM: Wendy’s single burger + fries + 3 sips diet Coke




Friday, Nov 14



  • Morning: 100-calorie breakfast bar + coffee
  • 2 PM: 2 handfuls trail mix
  • 5:30 PM: House salad (creamy Italian), 2 veal meatballs, 2 bites spaghetti
  • 6:30 PM: Sound bath meditation
  • Note: Learned stressful layoff news, increased anxiety.




Saturday, Nov 15



  • 1 PM: Homemade large waffle + coffee
  • 6 PM: Sliced apple + caramel dip; cheese + crackers
  • 8 PM: Fell asleep early
