I’ve had a really bad sinus infection and no voice since Thanksgiving, so I haven’t felt well and my appetite has been off. Here’s everything I ate:





Thursday – Thanksgiving



  • Lots of Thanksgiving food (variety, larger portions)






Friday, November 28



  • Coffee
  • Banana muffin
  • 1 egg + sourdough bread
  • Pretzel
  • Coffee
  • Homemade soup (broth + 2 wontons) — 2 bowls
  • Apple with caramel dip






Saturday, November 29



  • Coffee
  • Pumpkin bread






Saturday, November 30



  • Pumpkin bread
  • Coffee
  • 3 PM: McDonald’s cheeseburger + ½ small fries
  • 8 PM: Cold McDonald’s cheeseburger






Sunday, November 31



  • Pumpkin bread

  • 1 PM: Homemade chicken broth + 3 dumplings

Wednesday, Nov 26

  • Noticed some stress-related snacking, but avoided bingeing.
  • Portions throughout the week were generally small and consistent.
  • Regular pattern of coffee + protein shake mornings, Kevin’s Natural Foods beef + small portion of rice for several dinners, and trail mix as an afternoon hunger cue.

  • 5 PM: Apple + caramel dip (individual cup)
  • 6:30 PM: 2 tbsp chip dip + handful of chips
  • 7 PM: Kevin’s Mongolian Beef (5 oz) + 4 tbsp jasmine rice
  • 8 PM: 5 crackers + port wine cheese
  • Note: Felt “snacky,” aware it was stress-related, but kept portions small.
